Mutual respect as a factor for success
UNTHA is one of the top 3 employers in the INDUSTRIEMAGAZIN ranking 2025. The study shows that the Kuchl-based family business is perceived as an attractive employer in the region and beyond, embodying not only a familial working atmosphere but also a strong culture of innovation. This combination is particularly appealing to qualified specialists and also convinces many apprentices to join the company.
The ranking is based on the “Reputation Report,” a study conducted by INDUSTRIEMAGAZIN in collaboration with the IMWF. It is based on 176,000 statements about 498 industrial companies from news media, trade journals, and social media. These were examined using AI-supported text analysis. The study evaluated how companies present themselves to the public and how this content is perceived online. The analysis included criteria such as employer brand, innovative strength, team culture, social responsibility, and regional networking.
3rd place for UNTHA
UNTHA takes third place in the ranking behind Doppelmayr and FACC, improving its position by 14 places compared to last year. This is a huge leap forward, demonstrating that the shredding technology specialist attaches great importance to authentic employer branding and open communication: "This recognition means a lot to us – not because of the number itself, but because it reflects the commitment, trust, and teamwork that have characterized our company in recent years. We attach great importance to positive cooperation and strive to provide our employees with the best possible training and further education. That's why we are particularly pleased when they communicate this to the outside world and our corporate communications can underline this,“ says Matthias Kiefer, Head of Human Resources at UNTHA.
Tom Arnold, Online Editor of INDUSTRIEMAGAZIN:
”UNTHA Shredding Technology, ranked third, also shows how effective online communication can be linked to concrete employer benefits. The shredding technology specialist scores particularly highly with the opening of its own Technology Innovation Center, which not only enhances the attractiveness of the location but also creates a modern, inspiring working environment. Investments like this in infrastructure and innovation culture are directly reflected in the employer brand. In addition, UNTHA is perceived online as an attractive employer that offers a good working atmosphere, interesting tasks, and a family-like corporate culture.
