Shredding hard drives

Due to advancements in digitalisation, electronic data backups on hard drives and digital storage media are becoming increasingly popular. Simply erasing hard drives prior to disposal is no longer an option, as the information can easily be retrieved by third parties.

Only the mechanical destruction of hard drives can guarantee security to 100%. We provide reliable solutions for the shredding of hard drives in compliance with the DIN 66399-2 safety standard.

Our shredders for hard drives

The perfect solution

Depending on your requirements, we will configure the perfect solution for you regarding the reliable destruction of hard drives.

  • Depending on the security level, the hard drive shredder can be equipped with a particular perforated strainer.

  • Our four-shaft shredders can achieve a throughput capacity of up to 150 hard drives per hour for security level H-5.

  • Once a hard drive has been shredded, retrieval of information from the storage medium is completely impossible.

Any valuable resources can also be reintroduced into the raw material cycle.

Certified and flexible

DEKRA, the independent certification body, has confirmed through an expert assessment that our industrial shredders for hard drive destruction fulfil the new DIN 66399-2 safety standard (destruction systems for files and data carriers). Due to the high flexibility of the four-shaft shredders, other optical storage media (SD cards, Blu-Rays, USB sticks, etc.) or files can also be shredded appropriately. This makes it possible to process several different material streams using one shredding solution.

Different perforated strainers which are easy to change also ensure that you are ideally prepared for future market requirements. The compact construction of hard drive shredders even makes it possible for you to install them into a truck.

In this way, our shredders are also optimally equipped for the mobile destruction of your customer’s data on-site.

Metal shredding is a necessary step in the recycling process, independent of whether your scrap metal comes from the metal-processing industry, the automotive industry, the electrical industry or the waste industry.

The generated plastic waste can be recycled through shredding, washing and subsequent generation of granulate to produce a recyclable material (for the recovery of materials or energetic utilisation).

Electronic waste (WEEE)

Electronic scrap comprises old electrical and electronic devices, as well as components of these which can no longer be used.

Electronic waste
Commercial & industrial waste

Commercial and industrial waste is collected separately according to the respective components before being processed and reintroduced into the raw material cycle (recycling), or recovered for thermal recycling or for energetic utilisation (substitute fuels).
