Wood waste from production

Woodworking and wood processing companies, such as carpenters, joiners, but also carpentry and sawmill companies, as well as the wood industry, are increasingly focusing on the zero-waste concept. This leads to a more sustainable use of wood as a resource and makes both ecological and economic sense.

  • Efficient wood shredding
  • Integration of shredders into production lines
  • Compact, powerful, and resistant to contaminants

With UNTHA wood shredders, residual wood can be quickly and easily converted into biomass for thermal utilization, fully automatically and without additional manpower if desired.

Wood chips and pellets

Residual wood from joinery, offcuts, cuttings, and wooden pallets are shredded directly on site using UNTHA wood shredders and processed into wood chips and pellets. These are then thermally recycled in the company's own boilers or sold on at a profit. In this way, wood is 100% utilized, energy costs are reduced, and at the same time, waste is turned into a valuable energy source.

Residual wood

Wood as production waste accumulates in numerous companies, from carpentry businesses to the packaging industry. Through shredding, a secondary fuel can be generated for numerous applications. Regardless of how you are planning to use the wood chips, we will configure the residual timber shredder exactly according to your needs.

Efficient wood shredders

UNTHA's 1- and 4-shaft shredders enable wooden waste from production to be processed quickly and efficiently without the need for additional manpower. As soon as the residual wood enters the shredder, it is automatically shredded. Even metal inclusions are no problem for the RS, LR, and LRK models. Thanks to their compact design, the shredders can be flexibly integrated into production lines or placed separately – even in pits or outdoors. This recycling process can be further optimized by adding appropriate conveyor technology, metal separators, and integration into extraction systems.

The advantages at a glance:

  • Compact design, robust cutting mechanism
  • Homogeneous wood chip quality
  • Maximum efficiency and availability
  • Optimal integration into production lines and system solutions
  • High user-friendliness
  • Low maintenance
  • 3-year worry-free warranty

Wood processing companies rely on UNTHA wood shredders

Companies around the world that specialize in wood processing rely on UNTHA's many years of experience. Our wood shredders have been tried and tested thousands of times and are constantly being further developed. They are used in smaller businesses that process only 1 m³ of residual wood per day, but also in the wood industry, where much larger quantities are involved. The goal is to use 100% of the residual wood and thus achieve maximum profit and sustainability.
