The XR class stands for reliable processing across a wide variety of material streams – from coarse pre-shredding to flexible single-stage processing. With the UNTHA Power Drive, this proven machine platform is enhanced with a powerful upgrade.
The beltless direct drive enhances the XR class with a robust and low-maintenance drive solution. Available across all stationary and semi-mobile XR machines, this technology ensures efficient power transmission while reducing maintenance requirements. This drive version is well suited for high throughput applications involving homogeneous, voluminous materials that are processed to a defined particle size.
The beltless direct drive transmits power directly to the cutting process via a planetary gearbox integrated into the rotor. An optional low-maintenance safety clutch protects the cutting system and drive train from damage caused by foreign objects.
This results in a consistently advanced XR class that combines proven shredding technology with a cost-efficient, low-maintenance drive solution. The outcome is a high-performance, complete package that ensures efficient processing and reliable operation.
