Advantages of the SR2000XC/SR3000XC
With the SR class, UNTHA has introduced high-performance SRF secondary shredders. These single-shaft shredders convert pre-processed, screened, and metal-separated material into consistent, high-quality fuel for the main burner. The stationary SR shredders are ideal for cement manufacturers, recyclers, and waste management companies and plant operators who want consistently high productivity with low operating costs. The SR class features a rugged design built for continuous, multi-shift operation. The SR2000 and SR3000 combine the proven XC cutting system with a large rotor diameter, expanded screen area, and low rotor speeds to deliver efficient, consistent performance.
For standard applications, such as RDF/SRF shredding, the pusher is not required. This reduces the number of moving parts, eliminates working hydraulics, and lowers maintenance needs. At the same time, it allows for a larger, lower feed opening, making loading easier.
Additionally, the integrated FlowGuide in the cutting chamber ensures uniform material flow. Welded, wear-protected blade holders ensure high stability and resistance to foreign objects. The bolted wear plates are easy to replace, keeping downtime to a minimum.
Cost-Effectiveness
Thanks to high efficiency, robust construction, and fewer wear parts, the SR-Class is particularly cost-effective in operation. These machines are optimized for continuous operation, deliver consistent results, and keep operating costs low.
Another advantage: the shredders can be used as stand-alone units or integrated into existing systems, ensuring smooth and reliable processes. The rotor blades are larger than those of many competitors, providing excellent resistance to foreign objects. Both rotor and stationary blades can be used up to four times, significantly extending service life. During development, special attention was given to minimizing maintenance and simplifying service tasks, saving both time and money.
Service and Maintenance
The beltless UNTHA Power Drive (asynchronous drive) operates without tensioning technology, shaft stubs, or a flywheel. Wear and adjustment work are largely eliminated. Additionally, the cutting gap is adjustable when the foreign material flap is closed. The absence of a scraper comb cuts maintenance requirements for the stator blade in half. Added to this is the integrated gear oil cooling system: thanks to it, oil viscosity remains constant and oil change intervals are significantly extended.

Pre-shredded, pre-treated (screened, with ferrous and non-ferrous metals separated) lightweight fractions from commercial and industrial waste, household waste, mixed waste, and production waste can be processed with the SR-Class.

MyUNTHA supports you in your daily work with your shredder and helps to make processes even more efficient.

Noise insulation on the perforated screen door, foreign material flap, and side walls of the machine reduces the shredder’s noise emissions by up to 10% and ensures an improved working environment. Additionally, the drive unit is protected from dirt.
