To meet changing market demands and regulatory requirements, MIKI Recycling has invested in an UNTHA XR3000C mobil-e shredder. This fully electric, mobile unit provides enhanced flexibility in waste processing, allowing for single-step shredding of municipal and commercial waste into precise output sizes. The machine investment has improved operational efficiency, minimised downtime, and strengthened MIKI Recycling’s commitment to sustainable waste-to-energy solutions.

MIKI Recycling is a second-generation family business serving the Krakow region in Poland, specialising in sustainable waste management. The company processes commercial and industrial waste as well as municipal waste, producing high-quality substitute fuels (RDF) and sorting materials that are then sent for recycling. Committed to innovation and efficiency, the company continuously invests in state-of-the-art technology to enhance waste processing and alternative fuel production. Always with a focus on flexibility, reliability, and environmental responsibility.

MIKI Recycling needed a shredding solution that could efficiently process varying C&I and MSW waste fractions into high-quality RDF, as well as sort other materials for further recycling. Given fluctuating market demands, the company required a machine that could quickly adapt output sizes ranging from 35mm to 80mm.
REQUIREMENTS
One-step shredding process
Mobile, electric-powered operation for flexibility
Low noise emissions
High throughput and consistent output quality
Low maintenance and energy-efficient performance

The XR3000C mobil-e was the ideal solution for MIKI Recycling. Its mobility enables quick relocation within the facility, providing operational flexibility while maintaining energy efficiency and minimal noise emissions. UNTHAs XR3000C mobil-e is designed for high-performance, one-step shredding: this machine efficiently processes commercial and municipal waste at a rate of 7–10 tonnes per hour. The cutting system, in combination with the various perforated screens, enables the company to adjust the output sizes between 35 mm and 80 mm. The XR3000C mobil-e is fully electric, and its robust, low-maintenance design and integrated foreign object protection system enhance reliability, reducing downtime and maintenance efforts. Equipped with the UNTHA Eco Power Drive, the shredder delivers high torque at low speeds. Furthermore, its remote-controlled tracked chassis allows for easy movement within the facility, ensuring seamless integration into existing operations.
We took into account various offers, but according to my research, there is currently no equivalent of this machine on the market. We wanted it to be mobile, electric and, above all, provide the possibility of quick replacement of the perforated screens. We immediately ordered it with three sets of these, which have diameters of 30, 50 and 80 mm.
