The reliable and cost-effective destruction of documents and data is becoming increasingly important for many organizations, both as a result of statutory requirements and for reasons of security. Whether its bank notes for national banks, credit cards, paper documents or data on CD ROMs/DVDs or magnetic tapes, the patented UNTHA four-shaft system can be used reliably and securely by banks, insurance companies and many other service industries for the widest possible range of shredding requirements.

Two four-shaft shredders working in tandem can achieve a granule size of 6 mm in cases where particularly stringent security requirements must be met. The first step in what is called a duplex plant involves coarse shredding, while the final granule size is achieved in the second stage, the fine shredding process. We have developed special cutters for this application, meeting the highest level of security requirements.

Four-shaft shredders are fitted with the appropriate cutters and perforated screen depending on the level of security required as defined in DIN standards. Four perforated screen surfaces and precision cutters also guarantee an extremely high through-put.

The RS30 to RS100 series machines, with their patented slow-running four-shaft system, are distinguished by particularly low dust and noise emission levels and a robust resistance to foreign bodies.
