MR series The MR series was primarily conceived for the shredding of plastics but is also used, for example, for processing wood off-cuts and textiles. The outstanding feature of this mid-range single-shaft shredder is its high through-put rate, achieved with the help of the rotor and swing-pusher in-feed system used to force materials into the machine. The geometric shape of the rotor can be adapted and the most suitable cutting blades selected to meet your specific requirements. Some typical applications

*Depending on the drive method: electromechanical, electrically or diesel driven hydraulic drives Thanks to the compact, functional "swing-pusher in-feed system", the shredder will take up only a minimal amount of space at your premises. The hydraulic system that opens the entire front of the machine makes this series exceptionally easy to maintain. A fully automatic locking system for the service door can also be provided as an option. If you have to shred very large plastic packaging (e.g. with a volume of 1000 liters) an additional in-feed mechanism can be supplied. UNTHA also offers a cooled version of the rotor for applications which generate significant amounts of heat. In cases where a high proportion of foreign bodies are present, further protection can be provided through the optional addition of hydraulically lowered cutting bars. The possibility of turning the blades four times means that wear-related costs remain low, while service life is significantly increased through the optional installation of hard-metal reversible cutting blades. Three drive versions are available depending on your requirements. Power is transmitted to the rotor (located in a welded frame) by means of a gear box and belt. |
