More than 25 years of innovation
UNTHA is a mechanical engineering company
based in Salzburg that specializes in the development and manufacture of shredders for a wide
range of applications. We have a tradition of innovation stretching back over 25
years.
We can therefore draw on over 25 years of experience
in shredding technology and can confidently claim to have made a
substantial contribution to the technical developments in this field. The
innovative technology of the patented UNTHA four-shaft shredder and perforated screen
was developed in our plant; in 1981 UNTHA launched the first industrially
produced four-shaft shredder onto the market. We have also played a key role in
other technical innovations and hold various other patents.
Our all-round technical know-how and experience, and more than 60
highly-qualified staff, make us one of the most highly skilled partners in this
field.
Development and know-how – The UNTHA Technical
Center
We know the stringent demands our customers place on our products. Our
priorities in all spheres of activity are maximum customer satisfaction and the
highest possible quality. We can provide you with customized solutions
specifically tailored to your individual application – a service which is only
possible thanks to the wide range of models and variants we can supply. We will
work closely with you and involve you in the development process to ensure that
we understand all aspects of your requirements and can therefore find the most
efficient solution.
Our technical staff apply the very latest computer technology, such as CAD or
FEM, to each individual shredding solution as they develop it through to the
production stage. An important component of our Development Department is the
modern UNTHA Technical Center. The center is open to visitors and we use it not
only to demonstrate and test our machines under realistic conditions but also to
develop new shredding solutions. In the Technical Center we will work side by
side with you, using your input material, to develop the optimum configuration
to meet your specific requirements. The tests conducted in the Technical Center
also allow our Development Department to accumulate further data for use in the
development of new and existing shredding machines and cutters
And finally UNTHA shredders are manufactured and assembled to meet your
specific requirements in our state-of-the-art production facilities in
Kuchl.
