Thanks to the compact, functional "swing-pusher in-feed system", the shredder will take up only a minimal amount of space at your premises. If you have to shred empty packaging, such as 200 liter drums, an additional compression feeder can be installed. UNTHA also offers a cooled version of the rotor for applications which generate significant amounts of heat. The screw conveyor’s efficient, fast-cleaning system guarantees reduced preparation times when different materials have to be shredded one after the other without cross-contamination.

The possibility of turning the blades four times means that wear-related costs remain low. The stator bars (fixed by bolts) and the blade carriers can be easily replaced, as well as the reversible cutting blades, offering you a further advantage – you only have to replace the carrier (not the complete rotor) if damage is caused by foreign bodies. High availability is guaranteed thanks to the low contamination of the mechanical moving parts on the exterior of the shredder case.

Power is transmitted to the rotor (located in a welded frame) by means of a gear box and belt.

The product is also supplied with an integrated screw conveyor to transport the granules and an extractor hood for pneumatic removal.
